We at Academic Associates Learning Centers® of the Foothill Communities (AALCFC) believe that everyone can learn to read! And we know that everyone can become a better student!
Our centers offer reading instruction and tutoring services for children, teens, and adults in the Southern California Foothill Communities of Alta Loma, Claremont, Etiwanda, La Verne, Rancho Cucamonga, and Upland. All of our instructors are experienced and qualified teachers.
For reading instruction we use the program developed by Cliff Ponder, Founder of the international Academic Associates Learning Centers¨, which has proven over more than two decades to be the best system for teaching readers of all ages.
In addition to reading instruction, we also offer individualized tutoring services. Experienced and qualified instructors can help students to improve their study skills and their performance in most subjects, particularly in the humanities. Our specialties include grammar and mechanics, spelling and vocabulary, writing and research, logic and argumentation, and literature. High school juniors and seniors may benefit most from our individualized college writing head-start program.
